Meet the musicians

Laura Gulley lives in Providence RI and graduated from Brown University with degrees in math and music. She plays both modern and historical violin and viola, she's a member of the Rhode Island Philharmonic and Boston Baroque, and she teaches Suzuki violin, viola and chamber music at the Music School. Laura has traveled, toured and recorded with several baroque and Renaissance music ensembles, performed microtonal music of Ezra Sims at the Beyond Music Festival 2025 in Pittsburgh, and collaborated with Rhode Island composers Steven Jobe and Alec K. Redfearn for many years. She loves helping create music for new operas and theater productions, recording strings and sound effects for songwriters, and performing music for dancers.
