Andrew Clark leads the Providence Singers and the Rhode Island Philharmonic in George Frideric Handel’s great oratorio, last performed by the Singers in December 2003.

Stravinsky: Symphony of Psalms

Maestro Larry Rachleff leads the Rhode Island Philharmonic and The Providence Singers in a performance of Stravinsky’s choral masterpiece, commissioned by the Boston Symphony Orchestra for its 50th anniversary season. Stravinsky sets three psalms of David, drawing his texts from the Latin Vulgate. Also on the program: Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 4 with soprano Susan Lorette Dunn.
