Andy Your gift to The Providence Singers supports a broad and growing choral program for Rhode Island and southern New England, including:

The concerts of our current season. A typical concert requires 10 weeks of rehearsal, a professional accompanist, rehearsal space, fees for guest artists, rental of the performance venue, marketing, a printed program and much more.

A rich choral program for high school students. The Junior Providence Singers, now in its fourth year, provides a high-quality rehearsal and performance experience for the area’s best high school singers. The program is funded jointly by The Providence Singers and the Music School of the Rhode Island Philharmonic.

Choral education for children. A pilot choral program for children in grades four through eight, begun in the 2005-06 season with our partners at The Music School, grew to a full-year program after only one season.

Commission and performance of new music. Advancing the choral art by commissioning and performing new music is a central part of our mission.

Checks payable to The Providence Singers should be sent to P.O. Box 9221 / Providence RI 02940-9221. And thank you.
