“... a dreamy take on ‘Neptune’ ... fades into the distance with the hushed pulsing of an off-stage women’s choir. The women of the Providence Singers did the honors.”

The 2010-11 Concert Season

The 39th was a year of transition. Harvard University had appointed Andrew Clark as its director of choral activities. The Singers Board of Trustees mounted a national search for a successor, and Andy worked to keep the organization moving forward. Nathan Zullinger joined the staff as assistant conductor and director of education, and a series of guest conductors, including Maestro Robert Page, presented a challenging and satisfying season. The Junior Providence Singers appeared in concert at VMA with Sweet Honey in the Rock.
