Signature Works: Vivaldi, Bach, Mozart  |  November 7-8, 2015
Antonio Vivaldi’s Gloria may be his best-known choral work. Johann Sebastian Bach’s Cantata 140 (“Wachet Auf”) is one of his two greatest surviving cantatas. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart considered his Mass in C (later called the Coronation Mass) to be among his best.

Ludwig van Beethoven: Symphony No. 9  |  May 6-7, 2016
The Ninth Symphony has marked so many historic events that the United Nations added Beethoven’s autograph to its Memory of the World Programme Heritage list, the first musical composition so honored. The Providence Singers will join the Philharmonic for two performances: Friday, May 6, and Saturday, May 7, 2016.
