The 29th Concert Season of the Providence Singers
This was the season that came to be seen as a point of arrival and departure. It began with the Singers’ first regular-season appearance at VMA Arts and Cultural Center – a collaboration with Cadence Dance Project. Such a large venue was a risk for the Singers at the time, but the concert was a great success. We performed for a full house and a got an enthusiastic reception. We concluded the season with Rachmaninoff’s Vespers in a series of concerts that took us from Providence to Bristol, East Greenwich and Westerly. |
